FAQS
Q. What happens if my child is injured or sick during camp?
A. A qualified trainer will be on duty for the duration of the camp to care for minor injuries and illnesses. Parents or guardians will be contacted immediately if there is a serious injury or a child needs to leave camp early for a medical reason. Please make a notation on the application form if there is any medical condition we should be aware of in advance of the player’s attendance. Our athletic trainers will be available for questions on the first day of camp and throughout the camp.
Q. What if my child cannot attend camp? Do I get a refund?
A. There are no refunds for ANY cancellations (including injuries and/or sickness) that occur following registration. However, your child will have the right to use their cancelled slot at a 2018 Cobi Jones Elite Soccer Camp (dates to be determined).
Q. What does each camper receive?
A. Every player will receive a Nike size 5, a Cobi Jones Elite Soccer Camp shirt, drinks and snacks. There will be prizes and awards at the end of the camp for its participants.
Q. My child is a goalkeeper. Will you have goalkeeper coaches for his or her specialized training?
A. Yes, specialized goalkeeper training will be conducted during camp, however each goalkeeper will be expected to participate in all drills to adapt to the modern game. Goalkeepers are taken aside and trained as a group during each daily session.
Q. Can my child request to be grouped with his/her club or school team?
A. Yes, we ask that on the registration form you submit the club and school team your child plays for. We will do our best to keep those players together.
